Supported features

Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow - This authentication flow occurs when the user attempts to log in to the application directly from D•One.

Requirements

  1. Install the D•One application in your Okta instance. You will see an option to specify the BaseURL. Input the sandbox and/or production URL shown below in the BaseURL field.

For sandbox - https://app-sandbox.data.one
For production - https://app.data.one

  1. Access to D•One will be specified on a per partner basis. Please email D•One support ([email protected]) with the email domain(s) which your organisation will use to access D•One via Okta. For example, clearscore.com.

Configuration steps

After installing the D•One application, you need to send information to D•One so we can set you up.

Gather information from Okta

  1. Navigate to the Okta admin page, click on the D•One application and click the Sign On tab
  2. Copy the values of Client ID and Client secret (click the eye button to toggle the visibility)
  3. Click the link titled OpenID Provider Metadata. In the JSON document shown, copy the URL-value titled “issuer”.

Send the information to D•One

Email the following configuration information to [email protected]

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • Issuer URL

D•One support will handle your request and get back to you as soon as the integration is configured.

Logging into D•One

The sign-in process is initiated from https://app.data.one for production and from https://app-sandbox.data.one for sandbox.

  1. From your browser, navigate to the D•One sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Okta email and press enter.
  3. You will be redirected to the Okta login page. Login to Okta using your credentials.
  4. If your credentials are valid, you will be redirected to the D•One dashboard.

Note: If you are already logged into Okta, you will directly be taken to the D•One dashboard.
