So that you can test without connecting your real bank accounts we have created a test bank called Hardings Todd Cook which can be used to test the connection journey in the sandbox.

To use the Hardings Todd Cook bank you first need to register an account on Hardings Todd Cook. The registration process includes assigning transactions to the account. These transactions are grouped into personas to mimic a real user’s transactions.

First navigate to https://www.hardingstodd.co.uk/ and create your own username and password for Hardings Todd Cook.

→ Click “Register” at the top right

→ Enter your email (Note: no email confirmation required) and a desired password

Once logged in to Hardings Todd Cook you need to select a persona. We have created a number of personas to simulate user data/scenarios, please select from:

  • Gambler
  • Arranged Overdraft
  • Returned DD
  • Multiple Loans

The account is now set up and you can logout.

Now that the account is created on Hardings Todd Cook you can connect this account to D•One. Please refer to the documentation related to the bank connection to launch the connection journey and the management journey. The connection journey is used to connect to a bank for the first time and the management journey is used to add more connections or remove connections (remove consent).

A list of banks will be provided when launching the connection journey and when connecting additional banks on the management journey. On this list is Hardings Todd Cook. By selecting this you will be navigated first to a consent page and then to the Hardings Todd Cook login page. Enter the login details created during the registration process to simulate authenticating at the bank.

Once logged in, you need to indicate which accounts you wish to connect (we suggest you opt for all) by checking the boxes next to each account. Once done, select the green button which says ‘Authorise and Return to TPP with ?’. This simulates giving consent at the bank and you will be returned to the main screen showing each of your connected account.

You can now pull data for this user through the API, view this user’s data on the web portal, or launch the management URL to add more bank connections/re-auth the bank connection/ remove the bank connection.
